Appearance: Mariah is very tiny, and slim, and very beautiful. She has long naturally blonde hair, but she dyes her hair a lot. Her eyes are not striking as such, but they are deep, and it is easy to get lost in them. She has elegant hands and long fingers, with perfectly filed nails, which are nearly always flawlessly painted.

Character Bio
Abilities: Mariah can play various instruments including the piano, violin, flute and guitar. She has a beautiful singing voice, and is very musically talented. Mariah is only just in control of her were-cat abilities, and can change whenever she likes, although she does not yet have control of her were-self.

Personality: Mariah is a quiet girl, used to keeping to herself. Being a were-cat, she was abandoned at birth and no one wanted anything to do with her. She was shunted from community and society, and became a self reliant woman. Now, at the age of twenty-one, she loves to party, and is more confident than she used to be. She does, however, hesitate in trusting people and is very reluctant to tell people of her ability. Mariah is always smiling, and has learnt to look on the bright side of life, thus making her a happy and bubbly looking young woman.

History: Mariah was born on 12th March, a beautiful baby. However, as the moon shone done on her tiny newborn form, Mariah began to change. She cried out, sensing her Mother’s sudden fear of her, as she slowly and painfully morphed into what resembled something like a domestic kitten. Its eyes were red, its fur was black. It was vicious-looking, and even though it was but a small baby kitten, it looked like it could rip the skin from your very bones. Her Mother and Father fled from her, screaming about shifters and curses.
From then onwards, Mariah grew up alone. How she survived is a mystery to all yet she managed to find food and water in a world crueller than anything anyone has ever seen. Now, as Mariah’s lonely wandering brings her to Forks, she finds her world tipped upside down. She’s not the only shifter; and it’s not a curse. There are vampires roaming the land she knows as home, and there is such a thing as ‘vegetarian vampires’. With her new life opening before her eyes, Mariah has a chance to live like she was always meant to; free and easy, and most important of all, finally happy. In a search for her destiny and peace of mind, Mariah makes friends that are going to stay with her eternally. Can she get over her rocky past and finally move on to live a long and happy life?
